1. Who we are
PULPR LTD (company number 16818884) is the controller of personal data processed through Pulpr.

2. What data we collect
- Account data: email, name or handle, authentication identifiers.
- Address data: delivery address and related details used to create shipping labels and deliver books.
- Listings and swaps: listings, requests, statuses, timestamps, and dispute information.
- Shipping data: chosen carrier/service, label identifiers/URLs, tracking numbers, tracking events.
- Token and payment records: token ledger entries, purchases, refunds, cancellations, and related metadata.
- Support communications: messages you send to support and any attachments you provide.
- Technical data: device/app version and logs required to diagnose faults and prevent misuse.
We do not store full payment card details. Payments are processed by third-party providers, for example Stripe.
3. Why we use your data
We use your data to:
- provide Pulpr and operate swaps, including holds, requests, labels, and disputes,
- process payments and prevent fraud,
- comply with legal and accounting requirements,
- keep the service secure and prevent misuse,
- provide customer support and resolve issues,
- send essential service communications, such as swap updates and security notices.
4. Marketing
We do not send marketing emails by default. If we introduce marketing emails, we will ask you to opt in. You can opt out at any time.
5. Who we share data with
We share personal data only as needed with suppliers that help us run Pulpr, such as hosting and database providers, payment processors, shipping and label providers including carriers, and email or notification services.
6. International processing
Some suppliers may process data outside the UK/EU, for example where infrastructure or support teams are based. Where this happens, we use appropriate contractual safeguards.
7. How long we keep data
We keep data only as long as necessary to operate the service, handle disputes and prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymise data unless we need to keep it for legal reasons or legitimate business needs.
8. Your rights
You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, and request portability of your data, subject to legal limits.
To exercise rights, contact support@pulpr.app. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
9. Children
Pulpr is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Security
We use appropriate security measures. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your account secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. If changes are material, we will notify you.
